History-Making Abortion Protest Builds to Large Conclusion

BRYAN, Texas, Oct. 4 /U.S. Newswire/ -- "The record-breaking '40 Days for Life' campaign has reached its final week, and is building to a powerful conclusion at the pro-life 'Celebration Weekend' events on October 9-10," said David Bereit, executive director of the Coalition for Life.

Bereit added, "Since September 1, dozens of churches and thousands of people in the Brazos Valley -- and beyond -- have united together to work toward an end to abortion through 40 days of prayer, fasting, community outreach, and a nonstop, 24-hour-a- day prayer vigil outside of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Bryan. National pro-life leaders have indicated that this is the longest round-the-clock abortion protest in American history, and we intend to conclude the effort this coming weekend in a big way."
