NAS FALLON, Nev., June 9 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Airborne Tactical Advantage Company, (ATAC), announced today that it is once again supporting the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and Airwing Training at the Naval Strike/Air Warfare Center at Naval Air Station Fallon. On June 1, ATAC sent three of its F-21 KFIR fighters to Fallon to train naval aviators alongside Navy TOPGUN instructors. ATAC expanded its program at NAS Fallon two years ago in an effort to provide outsourced "Red Air" support to TOPGUN and Airwing training.

ATAC has been the prime provider of tactical airborne service to the U.S. Navy since 1997 and was the logical choice to test the capability of outsourcing a portion of Navy adversary support. ATAC provides realistic tactical simulation and analysis services to the U.S. Navy, Air Force and various allied foreign militaries. ATAC pilots, experts in threat tactics and simulation, work closely with TOPGUN instructors to provide students with "graduate level" tactical training. The challenge is an ever-changing, moving target as ATAC continuously upgrades capabilities to emulate current threats to the safety of U.S. military pilots and ships.
