Jim Beam Brands Co. Joins America's Second Harvest in Fight to Endhunger; Company Grants $100,000 to Fund Five Backpack Programs

CHICAGO, Nov. 22 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Jim Beam Brands Co. confirmed its commitment to fight hunger today by granting $100,000 to America's Second Harvest-The Nation's Food Bank Network and largest hunger-relief organization in the country. The grant, which was made in the name of Angels' Share-the charitable arm of Jim Beam Brands, will support five BackPack Programs in communities where Jim Beam Brands employees live and work and will provide children with nutritious and easy-to- prepare meals on weekends and vacations when school meals are not available.

In addition, Jim Beam Brands is donating half a workday in the coming weeks for employees to volunteer their time for the programs the company is funding in Santa Rosa, CA; Park City, IL; Lexington and Louisville, KY; and Cincinnati, OH.
