AUGUSTA, Maine, March 8 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Easy access to guns continues to plague the state as domestic violence incidents continue and youth suicide rates outstrip national averages. And elected officials are doing little in response. That's the lesson of the 2005 Annual Report Cards of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

Maine earned a "D-." Overall, 32 states received a grade of "D" or "F" for the 2005 report card.
