WASHINGTON, June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools hosts the D.C. premiere of "The Lottery," a documentary film by director Madeleine Sackler. The film follows four families seeking to enroll children in the acclaimed Harlem Success Academy charter schools. Charter schools are public schools that operate under an agreement, or charter, which sets performance goals and also determines the number of students to be enrolled.
