NEW YORK, Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Democracy Cafeteria: A new research study reveals that Americans think the nation's issues cannot be fixed by politicians and policy, that citizens are largely responsible for moving the nation in the right direction, and that they are not fulfilling that responsibility.
The nationwide study Politics and Civil Society was conducted four weeks after the mid-term election of November, 2010. Despite election results that led to a shift in Congressional power, study participants said that elected officials need to be changed, and that if the Founding Fathers were alive today, they would be most disappointed by those who hold elected office.See the full content of this document
