WESTCHESTER, Ill., May 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Many people suffering through restless nights due to insomnia are unaware that there are common treatments available to help them sleep better. In recognition of the need to address this public health concern, Denver Mayor John W. Hickenlooper has proclaimed June 18 as "Insomnia Awareness Day."

To make the public aware of the causes and consequence of insomnia, and to inform them of the treatment options that are available, the American Insomnia Association is presenting a free public education forum at the Grand Hyatt Denver on Saturday, June 18 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
