3. BUSH'S FISCAL POLICIES HAVE UNDERMINED CONFIDENCE AND PUT OUR ECONOMIC FUTURE AT RISK. John Kerry believes in the importance of responsible fiscal policies that inspire confidence in the U.S. economy, keep interest rates low and encourage investment in America. The Bush Administration's policy of long-term deficits and fiscal mismanagement threatens to undermine confidence, drive up interest rates and leave our economy more vulnerable to foreign creditors.
