LAKE WORTH, Fla., April 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry was joined by Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman today on the campaign trail in Lake Worth, Fla., where the two Democrats discussed the new direction Kerry offers middle-class families squeezed by the out-of-touch economic policies of George W. Bush.

The Democrats noted that working families across the country are struggling to keep up with rising costs like health care and college tuition, while also seeing jobs disappear, wages stagnate and family debt rise. Wellington, Fla., resident Bill Sauers attended the town hall meeting and shared with the two senators some of the struggles his family faces every day. After hearing Sauers' story, Kerry pledged that help is on the way for the middle class under a Kerry administration.
