WASHINGTON, March 28 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Hundreds of grassroots leaders representing National People's Action (NPA) are paying a visit to the home of President Bush's Senior Policy Advisor Karl Rove on Sunday, March 28, because he refused to meet with them to discuss the rights of immigrant youth.
NPA and immigrant rights' leaders want the White House to support the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act (DREAM Act). It would grant access to instate tuition for children of immigrants whose families have been in the county at least five years and paid taxes for three. The DREAM Act has 62 co-sponsors and the White House is standing in the way of it being brought to a vote this year.See the full content of this document
