WASHINGTON, Sept. 8 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Media Matters for America (MMFA) has found that in the wake of the announcement that former President Bill Clinton's was to undergo heart surgery, a number of conservative radio hosts mocked were out in full-force making light of Clinton's serious condition, suggested that he would go to hell, and speculated that Clinton's surgery was a ruse to avoid campaigning for John Kerry.
On September 3 -- the very day Clinton's condition was announced - - Michael Savage wasted no time in mocking Clinton during his Savage Nation broadcast: "I understand that Bill Clinton will be getting bypass surgery. He will be with us a while longer because we understand that Hell was full -- and he will be granted a full recovery. We do know that he is getting bypass surgery, but we cannot confirm it is of the heart. It may be of another organ.
