Mississippi State Conference NAACP will release a wide-ranging report on the state and federal government recovery efforts on the eve of Hurricane Katrina's first anniversary, Wednesday, August 23. The report will be edited and published by the Initiative for Regional and Community Transformation at Rutgers University with contributions from the Mississippi Center for Justice, the Brookings Institute and Public and Private Ventures.
