Children's Organ Transplant Association (Cota) Receives $100,000 Contribution to Benefit Children

Summary

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Jan. 5 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Che Nikolai (Nick) Lynum of Arizona Land Wholesalers and the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA) today jointly announced a $100,000 contribution to benefit five transplant-needy children. These five children (Joseph Carlson, Ivie Duncan, Sean Hernandez, Roma Taylor, and Terra Yert) are patients of the Children's Organ Transplant Association and are actively raising funds to cover their un-met medical costs due to their need for a life-saving organ or bone marrow transplant.

"My partner, Alan Robinson, and I researched many charities in order to find one where we felt our contribution would have the most direct impact on its recipients. COTA gives us the opportunity to donate directly to children in need. This channel of giving allows us to track where our contributions are going and to see first hand the positive impact it has on its recipients," said Arizona Land Wholesalers President Nick Lynum. "While our business is primarily based in Arizona, we recognize the need for children's transplants throughout the country. With our clients being spread nationwide, it makes sense to share this contribution with children from a broad geographic area."
