LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -b On Thursday, Pat Mitchell, president and CEO of PBS, will visit Louisville as part of a nation-wide tour she has embarked upon to engage community leaders and the public in a conversation about the initiatives PBS has underway to ensure it maintains and expands the services it provides. While in Louisville, Mitchell will meet with business leaders, educators, parents and others to discuss the ways public broadcasting is currently meeting communities' needs and how it can address them in the future.
"I want to share with the people of Louisville a vision for the future of public broadcasting in today's rapidly evolving media landscape and hear what they have to say about how we can best serve them" said Mitchell.
