WASHINGTON, June 29 /U.S. Newswire/ -- New reports reveal another effort by the Bush administration to put politics and ideology ahead of sound science. As the Los Angeles Times reported, the Bush administration restricted access to government scientists working with the World Health Organization (WHO). This is yet another example that the administration consistently places politics before science when making decisions that affect the health of the American people. From matters of public and environmental health, Bush has put industry advice before sound science. In addition, the Bush Administration has chosen to ignore clear scientific evidence in lieu of pleasing political allies.
