Summary

SEDONA, Ariz., Feb. 14 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Eighth Annual Sedona Conference on Complex Litigation will be held Thursday and Friday, May 4-5, at the Sedona Hilton, in Sedona, Ariz. This year's complex litigation conference will focus on the litigation of mass torts, with an agenda that begins with pre-trial issues (class certification, CMO's, expert discovery and Daubert issues, use of court-appointed expert panels, fraud in the submission of diagnoses), works through trial issues (case and test plaintiff selection/causation, managing the trial, motion in limine practice, juror questionnaires and juror comprehension, ethics and publicity) and post-trial issues (collateral estoppel, appeals, juror interviews), and then looks at the next generation of mass torts and resolving mass torts through magistrates, masters and mediators and concludes with a session focusing on ethical issues in mass tort settlements and creative class devices.

The blue-ribbon faculty includes six sitting and former judges, nationally renowned trial lawyers from both the plaintiff and defense bars, in-house counsel and experts.
