MANHATTAN, Kan., March 21 /U.S. Newswire/ -- At Kansas State University, learning how to be a leader isn't self-serving -- it's learning how to serve others.

Approximately 70 K-State students are participating in alternative spring breaks this week through the Community Service Program. They will be returning to campus Saturday, March 25, said Mary Hale Tolar, associate director of civic leadership at K-State.
