WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Citing a new Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy report that finds that the total annual cost of Federal regulations is $1.1 trillion, Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine), Chair of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, today renewed her call for the Senate to pass her regulatory reform legislation.
"Today's report finds that Americans spend a staggering $1.1 trillion trying to comply with Federal regulations," said Senator Snowe. "We can and we must continue our efforts to inject common sense into the regulatory arena by passing the targeted regulatory reform legislation I introduced earlier this year.
